"I had gained extra weight over the years and just felt uncomfortable with my body. When Anne approached me about health coaching, I didn’t think it would work for me because I’m a 58 year old woman who has to take anti hormone pills that can cause weight gain.

At the start of the 12 weeks, my goal was to lose 10 pounds.  With Anne’s encouragement and accountability I lost 15 pounds and have kept it off for 2 years now.

 

Anne taught me how to incrementally get new habits using individualized coaching.  It was so gradual that it was much easier than I thought it would be.  We projected losing 1 pound a week and it pretty much went that way.  Some weeks were easier than others, but with Anne’s help I kept my focus and took the weight off.

 

From May to December I lost 3 inches off my waist, 4 inches off my hips and 2 inches off my thighs.  I went down 2 sizes in clothes.  It’s such a good feeling to be back at the weight I had been in college and be within my BMI range and not be labeled ‘overweight’ on the summary of my doctor's visit. My husband lost weight too, just by walking with me and cutting back calories with me.

I would highly recommend working with Anne as your health coach.  She did such a great job that I lost weight and even kept it off. This is a plan you can live with because it slowly incorporates changes that you can easily accomplish."

I met with Anne for 12 weeks and each week she would ask new questions and look at how my previous week had gone. She would give me things to implement into my daily routine to help me develop better habits to continue to build on after we were no longer meeting every week. She won’t overload you with information and things to try all at once, she will learn your goals and what your current habits are and help you implement a couple things at a time until you’re doing them without thinking, and then take a next step after that.

 

I set pretty lofty goals at the beginning of the program, and by the end of my time meeting with Anne, I made great progress towards those goals. Even though I didn’t fully complete every goal, I have full confidence I will soon because of the knowledge and habits that Anne helped me instill into my daily life. I would work with Anne again in a heartbeat and would refer her to anybody without hesitation. Thanks Anne!"

"I didn’t think coaching would be any different than what I have tried in the past. I’m glad I was wrong. As I filled out my intake form, all I thought about was the weight I wanted to lose. And boy- did I lose weight, but not only the kind we are so focused on. Working with Anne transformed my thinking. Her methods and knowledge took the focus off of what the scale was telling me and put it on what my body was telling me. When I started eating better, I felt better and didn’t want a cheat day.
